I agree......I am pro-PS3, but it seems like anything and everything gets approved as news...
I think there should be a sub-area that has all the fan opinions should be filtered to....but that takes too much work.
I think the staff here at N4G have done well, but lately it's just been a bunch of opinionated articles that focus on the PS3....which I like, don't get me wrong....

I'm not shocked, but Sony has been the most active BD hardware manufacturer up until this point...
Panasonic has made some of the best BD for the price you pay and they seem to be pushing Blu more and more....

I wish it was because I am a loyal PS3 owner....but it definitely is not gameplay...
the camera doesn't drop back and swing around like that in a real game and you would have seen the command prompts or action sequences where you have to hit triangle, circle, etc. etc.
this looked great...but I'd like to see how much the in-game graphics are improved and some of the things you can do that might differ...
even though I prefer the PS3 to the 360...I recall reading a comment about "who is making more money" by comparing all Sony brand consoles vs the MS brand in consoles...
does that mean we factor in PC's as well?...
now, while the article is about which console is selling more, I still hate the debate about "xxxx company is doing better financially" or "xxxx company has a better business model" etc. etc.

the comment about possibly only carrying one or two guns in Killzone 2 doesn’t matter to me, just as it didn’t matter in Resistance 2 because they give you guns and ample ammo throughout…
the Killzone 2 Beta isn’t exactly Resident Evil 5 Demo when it comes to “lack of ammo”…
I’m fine with having to settle on one gun….even Rambo (the ultimate soldier) could only carry 3 guns tops….
I think a "re-make" would consist of newly rendered cut-scenes and updated graphics that go beyond just "upscaling"...
I wouldn't mind it just upscaled from the original quality....and the new cut-scenes are going to be their point to justify whatever price point they give it..
I think that the fact you can't while while aiming is magnified in this game because there seems to be more enemies, or they seem harder to kill..
I played 1 and 4...and I thought they were both epic...
I don't like the controls with the enemies seeming to come in greater numbers...
they are correct....the 2010 holiday season will close a full year of dominance for the PS3 after a strong 2009 because it will likely be $199 by that point and that's just ridiculous...
imagine being able to get a PS3 for anything under $200?...and with the firmware upgrades, it is future proof at this point...
I mean, imagine when they enable 3D on the system...and any other capability they decide to add via FW upgrade...
and by then I think we'll stil...
can you get it for $199 if you have a Sony Style card and use the coupon?
I will agree with all the points in this article....
except for one..
there is no way the PSN download speeds are faster than the 360...other than that, it's spot on..
you can actually compare a 3rd person shooter with a 1st person shooter....it depends on the game...
you can compare Killzone 2, Gears 2, Resistance 2 and Halo 3 with one another...
but you can't throw in Uncharted......Uncharted is more like Resident Evil with the gameplay....and is more of an adventure game than a shooter....
the perspective is such a small difference....I'm talking about the type of game...and Uncharted shouldn't be compared to Gears....
so many people bring up how PS3 is third in sales like they are doing atrociously...
I don't care about Sony's business model, I want to play the best games possible...
I'm only willing to own one system and I own the PS3 because it has more games that I like out of the three consoles...
quality games > consoles sold

Why can't more companies support their games the way that EA has for Burnout Paradise instead of milking DLC with bullshit that nobody is going to buy?...
another game that has had DLC that was worthwhile is Warhawk...
however, games like LBP are for DLC whores and will be milked for every accessory that is not a form of advertisement or an in-game for home...
I also feel that these companies are focusing on intern...

I'd just like to address the Blu-ray comments made in this podcast....
Blu-ray isn't just for movies...it's a capacity...25GB per disc or 50GB per DL disc...
if the generation following this one will move forward...they will have to boost up the capacity.....
...whether or not it will be Blu-ray is another question, but to say that Blu-ray isn't necessary right now can be a pretty good assessment....
